Terms of Service

By booking lessons or using CalPro Driving School's website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

Students must be at least 15½ years old and hold a valid California learner's permit before any behind-the-wheel instruction.

2. Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required prior to your first lesson.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Lesson packages are valid as listed on the Services page.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations or reschedules made more than 48 hours before a lesson are free.
• Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours incur a $60 fee.
• DMV test cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment incur a $60 fee.

4. Refunds

Refunds are available for unused lessons, less a reasonable processing fee. Completed lessons are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact calprodriving@gmail.com.

5. Lesson Conduct

Students must follow all instructions from the certified instructor and obey California traffic laws. Lessons may be terminated without refund for unsafe conduct, intoxication, or disrespectful behavior.

6. Vehicles & Insurance

All instruction vehicles are dual-control, regularly inspected, and covered by commercial driving-school insurance. Damage caused by student negligence outside of normal lesson conditions may be assessed to the student.

7. DMV Road Test Service

DMV test packages include warm-up training and use of our school car at the DMV. We do not guarantee that the student will pass the road test — passing depends on the student's skill and DMV examiner judgment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, CalPro Driving School's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount the student paid for the relevant package.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
